Our story
Next Gen eBasket League traces its roots to the broader eAdriaticLeague (EAL), established in 2022 in collaboration with Esports Federations of Southeast Europe. EAL quickly became a pioneering force in regional esports, recognized as the first league to offer professional contracts to players. Its mission has always been clear—elevate esports to the level of professional sport through structure, support, and innovation.
Within this framework, eAdriatic Basketball League emerged as a dedicated basketball discipline under the EAL umbrella. After a successful inaugural season, the league evolved and rebranded into Next Gen eBasket League, signaling a stronger focus on global visibility, professional standards, and alignment with international esports structures.
What Makes Us Different
Next Gen eBasket League stands out by maintaining a strictly regulated competitive environment. All matches are monitored by licensed delegates and official supervisors delegated by national esports federations, ensuring compliance with anti-doping regulations and ESIC standards. Players are contracted professionals, competing in structured formats with real rewards, responsibilities, and global recognition.
